Professor Patricia M Davidson

Professor Patricia M. Davidson joined the University of Wollongong as Vice-Chancellor in May 2021. Professor Davidson is a global leader in nursing, health care, and advocacy.

Professor Patricia M Davidson

Professor Patricia M. Davidson joined the University of Wollongong as Vice-Chancellor in May 2021. Prior to her current role, Professor Davidson was dean of the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in Baltimore in the United States. In 2021 she was the recipient of the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) Distinguished Leader Award. This honour celebrates her exceptional contributions to the advancement of global health worldwide. As a global leader in nursing, health care, and advocacy, Professor Davidson's work focuses on person-centred care delivery and the improvement of cardiovascular health outcomes for women and vulnerable populations. She has extensively studied chronic conditions, transitional care, palliative care, and the translation of innovative, acceptable, and sustainable health initiatives across the world. Professor Davidson serves as counsel general of the International Council on Women's Health Issues, and was a past board member of CUGH and secretary general of the Secretariat of the World Health Organizations Collaborating Centres for Nursing and Midwifery. She also serves on the Board of Health Care Services for the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in the United States.

Randall Cupp

A banker with almost 30 years’ experience, Mr Cupp holds a Masters in International Economics from the University of Wollongong.

Randall Cupp

Randall Cupp, is a banker with almost 30 years’ experience, and is market president for US Bank in Grand Junction, Colorado. Mr Cupp began his banking career with US Bank in 1986 and has worked in various roles, including relationship manager and commercial banking team leader. He holds bachelor’s degrees from Truman State University in Missouri as well as a Master’s degree in International Economics from the University of Wollongong. Mr Cupp belongs to a number of organisations, including the Colorado Mesa University Department of Business advisory board, Grand Junction Commission on Arts and Culture and Grand Valley Catholic Outreach.

Dr George Delic

One of the first to graduate from the University of Wollongong in 1968, Dr Delic is a senior computer specialist

Dr George Delic

Dr George Delic was one of the first graduates of University of Wollongong when it was still under the auspices of the University New South Wales. He graduated from the campus in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and then completed a PhD in Theoretical Physics at the Australian National University in 1971. He has more than 33 years’ experience as a senior computer specialist both in Australia and overseas, as well as holding positions of senior lecturer, research fellow and post-doctoral research fellow in Germany, South Africa and the US. Until his retirement in 2002, Dr Delic was the senior scientific applications consultant for Lockheed Martin, working exclusively on the company’s computationally intensive research with the Environmental Protection Agency.

Monique Harper-Richardson

Ms Monique Harper-Richardson is the University of Wollongong’s Director of Advancement and President of The University of Wollongong USA Foundation.

Ms Monique Harper-Richardson is the University of Wollongong’s Director of Advancement and President of The University of Wollongong USA Foundation. She joined the University in 2004 as the Manager Development Alumni and Community. She began her career at ITC Group of Companies as the National Marketing Manager after completing a Bachelor of Commerce, Economics and Marketing and a Masters in Strategic Marketing at the University of Wollongong. In her role as Director of Advancement Ms Harper-Richardson is responsible for the University’s strategic engagement programs including alumni relations, philanthropic fundraising and community engagement. In her time as Director of Advancement, Ms Harper-Richardson has overseen the growth of programs and activities to support the engagement of more than 130,000 alumni of the university globally and has dramatically increased UOW’s philanthropic program with more than $20.5 million generated in just four years. She secured a gift of $7 million from a private donor – the largest in the university’s history – to begin the development and building of the University’s Early Start educational facility, the first of its kind in the world. Ms Harper-Richardson has a Bachelor in Commerce (Economics and Marketing), Master of Strategic Marketing and Alumni of the Commonwealth Study Conference (Duke of Edinburgh program).

Damien Israel

Mr Damien Israel joined the University of Wollongong in 2001, and was appointed to the Senior Executive in the role of Director of Financial Services in 2008.

Mr Damien Israel joined the University of Wollongong in 2001, and was appointed to the Senior Executive in the role of Director of Financial Services in 2008. Prior to joining the University, Mr Israel’s career was with the NSW Health system occupying a range of senior executive posts and participating in a number of State-wide initiatives involving financial and information systems and resource distribution. Mr Israel is committed to ensuring strong commercial outcomes for the University and maintaining its robust financial health. His professional interests are in finding better ways to use resources through benchmarking performance, use of information technologies, common sense policy development and effective business planning and implementation. He is a Certified Practising Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business and Master of Accounting, both from the Charles Sturt University. Mr Israel represents the University on a number of Boards including:
